Anastasia Roupakia
Composer, music producer and flutist specialising in film orchestral music and classical compositions.
As a strong supporter of melodies, she often combines the classical with modern electronic sounds and powerful melodies inspired by the Baroque music era. Her orchestral compositions are based on her strong musicality with memorable melodies and composition complexity.
Studied music from a very young age, she grew up listening to classical masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky choosing flute as main instrument before specialising in composition. Inspired by the works of Bernard Herrmann, John Barry and Henry Mancini as well as Alexandre Desplat and Abel Korzeniowski.
She has produced 5 Classical Collections - Solo Piano albums including tracks by Chopin, Liszt, Grieg, Fauré, Debussy, Satie, Liszt, Beethoven and Mozart. Anastasia has also released two personal albums, ‘Baroque Strings’ and ‘Reflections’ and an EP, ‘Vertigo’. Tracks from her albums have been featured in luxurious fashion brands including Giorgio Armani Privé Fashion Shows in Milan, Paris and Dubai.
Currently she is running Aphaia Music - a boutique music production company based in London. The music catalogue includes both original music compositions and classical collections available for immediate licensing. In addition and as a professional flutist, she often collaborates with fellow composers recording flute parts for soundtracks.
Holds a Master in Arts, Composing for Film and Television and a Bachelor in Classical European Music with specialisation in flute performance.
