Buckets

You’ve never seen a band like Buckets. The 4-piece indie punk outfit hailing from Los Angeles
puts on an overwhelmingly energetic, yet emotional show. Tightroping between dynamic
extremes from track-to-track, or even verse-to verse, the quartet implements everything from
saturated, soaring guitar riffs and heart-pumping fuzzy bass tones, to tender melodies and impassioned, unvarnished vocals.
Comprised of Tanner Houghton, Sasha Massey, Mitch Rossiter, and Hiram Sevilla, Buckets brings together both members and influences from the
Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and Northern Mexico. All seasoned players from varying backgrounds and styles, the tight-knit ensemble bring a captivating performance to every stage
that they grace.

Buckets’ signature sonic style, unique blend of digital and analogue, and creative use of field
recordings/ samples is evidenced on their new EP “Good Luck Bad Dog,” released on October 20, 2023, mixed by Alex Newport (Death Cab For Cutie, At The Drive-In, Bloc Party, etc.). The
self-recorded album is the follow up to the band’s debut, self-titled record (released in 2021),
and illustrates the growth and focus of the LA outfit. Showing the depth in sound and expression
that Buckets has cultivated over the last few years,
“Good Luck Bad Dog” defines the new era of
the band.

Recently the band has supported acts like The High Curbs, The Buttertones, and others in Los
Angeles, directly supported Louise Post (of Veruca Salt) on tour across the Western United
States, appeared at national and international music festivals such as Treefort Music Fest,
South By Southwest, and New Colossus Festival, and have headlined several regional tours
across the West Coast, Southwest U.S., and Northern Mexico. Buckets is currently working on a
new full length album with plans to release it in Spring 2025, along with plenty of touring to
support the record. Buckets also received placement in an AT&T iphone commercial with their cover of the 1967 hit song “Can’t Take My Eye’s off You.” We’re excited to have Buckets with ANA!
