Parker Ainsworth is a gifted songwriter bringing cinema to life with his soothing blend of americana, folk, and blues.

Parker Ainsworth

Singer songwriter Parker Ainsworth brings the art of storytelling through music forth from a space that audiences can feel from the first chord. Originally from Austin Texas, this Southern California resident followed I-10 toward the ocean and a new beginning in 2009, eventually coming to hang his hat on a sailboat docked at the edge of Los Angeles. Since his arrival in California, Parker has toured from Los Angeles to Canada, building a loyal following along the west coast while maintaining his Austin roots and branching out to New York City.

When asked to describe his signature sound Parker uses the term Patchwork Soul as he believes to be an acoustic blend of folk, Americana, blues and spoken word, all of the music he grew up listening to stitched into a unique blanket of sounds that feels strangely familiar.

Parker was most recently asked to write the theme song for the film Peanut Butter Falcon featuring heavyweights Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson and Academy Award Winner Bruce Dern. For the song, “Running For So Long (House a Home)”, he teamed up with Jessie Payo on vocals with Paris Jackson on backups. Needless to say this is just the beginning of what is sure to be a long relationship between Parker Ainsworth and cinema.

Having recently completed his second EP, “Leave on the Lights”, Parker is moving forward with commitment and purpose. He's weaving together communities with a deep love of language, heartfelt melodies and an authenticity of spirit that offers an open door to generations of listeners who wish to do one thing…
share the gift of music together.
